Hours: The post is for 16 hours a week (office based, over four week days)
Salary: Salary is £15.50 per hour
Contract: 3 Year Fixed Term Contract with the possibility of renewal
Applicants are sought with experience of Office Administration, Book-keeping, strong computer literacy, and sympathy with the aims of the Church.
Some of the main duties will involve:
Prepare the weekly church newsletter
Act as co-ordinator for Sunday worship
Manage the Data Developments Financial System
Organise payment of goods and services provided to the Church
Maintain financial records of all lettings, and other income and expenditure
Be responsible for the Church’s Gift Aid with the treasurer
Prepare and send financial reports
Support the Minister, the Church Leadership Team and Church
communications and record keeping
Manage all aspects of the Letting of the premises
Attend church council meetings and act as a support to the Church Council
Any other duties and responsibilities, identified by the Management Team and are within your capabilities and level of responsibility, in order to meet the needs of the church.
