Hours: The post is for 16 hours a week (office based, over four week days)

Salary: Salary is £15.50 per hour

Contract: 3 Year Fixed Term Contract with the possibility of renewal


Applicants are sought with experience of Office Administration, Book-keeping, strong computer literacy, and sympathy with the aims of the Church.


Some of the main duties will involve:


  • Prepare the weekly church newsletter

  • Act as co-ordinator for Sunday worship

  • Manage the Data Developments Financial System

  • Organise payment of goods and services provided to the Church

  • Maintain financial records of all lettings, and other income and expenditure

  • Be responsible for the Church’s Gift Aid with the treasurer

  • Prepare and send financial reports

  • Support the Minister, the Church Leadership Team and Church

  • communications and record keeping

  • Manage all aspects of the Letting of the premises

  • Attend church council meetings and act as a support to the Church Council

  • Any other duties and responsibilities, identified by the Management Team and are within your capabilities and level of responsibility, in order to meet the needs of the church.
