Creating Safer Space Foundation Module

The Creating Safer Space (CSS) Foundation Module is designed to serve as both a basic starting course and a refresher course. The course aims to increase safeguarding awareness, so that the church can exercise its duty of care to all.

 

This training is mandatory for many roles within our churches and circuits. The Required Attendance List provides a thorough breakdown of the roles that should attend this training.

Foundation Module training sessions are primarily coordinated by each circuit. The District also periodically provides this training where there is a need.  

 

We recognise that there are some circuits unable to facilitate training as they do not have the required trainers in their midst. We encourage circuits to work together and share resources so that we can ensure that all persons and churches are fully equipped to safeguard effectively.
