District Safeguarding Group
The District Safeguarding Group (DSG) works to provide support and direction to safeguarding policy and practice across the District, including but not limited to, the safeguarding conference and training. It is comprised of various individuals from across the District who are able to contribute a level of expertise in relation to safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults.
The DSG is chaired by a District Chair and led by the District Safeguarding Officer; and meet four times a year.
The extent of the DSG's work and plans for safeguarding across the District can be found in the District Strategic Plan 2020-2025, which can be accessed below.
If you have any questions regarding the District Safeguarding Group, or the Strategic Plan, please contact Claire De Stefano (District Safeguarding Officer).
