Safeguarding Training - An Update

Lifting restrictions does not mean that the risks from COVID-19 have disappeared. We therefore encourage churches to be mindful of the continued risk of infection and those who may be more vulnerable.

Foundation Module

Churches are urged to make use of the online version. Where this is not possible, please consider the steps you could take to ensure the safety and wellbeing of your attendees and trainers. For example, completing group exercises requires attendees to be in close proximity, therefore, the use of face coverings is encouraged to reduce the spread of infection.

Advanced Module

The online version will be made available from September 2021 and bookings can be made via Eventbrite, details will be published in the Weekly Update and on the website. There are many people who require the Advanced Module. To address this, priority will be given to those on the 'required attendance list' (here). Additionally, the online version will be the standard mode of delivery, we will offer four in-person sessions per year for those who are not able to access the online version.
