A response to the current wave of civil unrest
As mentioned earlier in the week, the Communications Team have produced a film in the light of the unrest and violence that can be used in churches and groups. It centres around the song See the Love and includes a prayer from the minister in Southport, the Revd Marie-Anne Kent.

See the Love
Â
In this time of uncertainty and fear, the Methodist Church encourages us to continue to see the love. We’ve all witnessed what happens when hate comes before love. That’s why we’re encouraging everyone to #SeeTheLove . We have seen misinformation breed separation, riots, unrest and destruction. But we know there is a better way. This is a prayer for communities, minorities and all of us. Use this film as a chance to reflect, pray and see the love all around you. Share your own video, saying ‘See The Love’ with us using the hashtag #SeeTheLove. With thanks to The Brilliance for giving us permission to record this version of their song 'See The Love' and to everyone across the Connexion who has contributed.
