“Justifying faith implies, not only a divine evidence or conviction that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto Himself, but a sure trust and confidence that Christ died for my sins, that He loved me and gave Himself for me.” ― John Wesley
Reconciliation is part of the Gospel. How do we continue to live out this part of our heritage as the people of God in a world so affected by division? The Peacemakers Conference is an online gathering to showcase and build on the peace-making and reconciliation work across the life of the District. This conference will offer a range of key notes, seminars and breakout spaces for conversation. The day hopes to:
Promote the work of peace-making and reconciliation including the District Reconciliation Group and Place for Hope
To encourage reconciliation work within churches and their wider communities
To hear stories of reconciliation and peace-making work in the life of the District and beyond
