The Methodist Church in Zimbabwe obtained its Autonomy from the British Methodist Church in 1977, and the Very Revd. Ndhlela was the 1st President of the Zimbabwe Methodist Church. He obtained the autonomy to give the Zimbabwean Methodist church its independence from the British.
This year marks the 40th Anniversary of the Autonomy from the British Methodist and the whole country is celebrating. We would like to raise much needed funds in line with the celebration for 3 charities which Revd. Ndhlela was associated with for the under privileged.
· The Andrew Ndhlela Centre in Gweru, a vocational centre for young people
· The Chitungwiza hospital in one of the Local Township
· The Matthew Rusike Children Home founded during his reign.
Zimbabwe has been suffering a lot economically, and it will be a great achievement if we could get some assistance to help these 3 institutions, which serve the under privileged in the society.
We can make a tangible difference if we all come together..
