The London District call upon all to support South London Mission with their upcoming bike ride taking place on the 27th and 28th May. The bike ride will start at Wesley’s Chapel and will finish off at Epworth Rectory in Lincolnshire, the birthplace of John Wesley.
Peter Baffoe who is the Faith & Community Development worker at the South London Mission is doing the 200-mile bike ride to raise funds to buy a new minibus for the South London Mission, which is heavily relied upon by the various groups within the mission including the Bermondsey Scout group, mummies republic group amongst other groups. The Bus is also used to transport food to various foodbanks.
The bike Peter was going to use, has sadly been stolen, an article about this has featured in the Southwark News; https://www.southwarknews.co.uk/news/dad-bike-stolen-weeks-charity-cycle/
Peter is adamant not too let this deter him from completing the bike ride, so any support that you can offer the South London Mission would be greatly appreciated, now more than ever!
